Case: Vloerkledenloods.nl

Giving an atmospheric impression of a rug at vloerkledenloods.nl

When Vloerkledenloods was founded, there was a clear financial steering need. Think turnover and gross margin. The need was not on a total level but more specific. For example, as a webshop owner you would like to know which assortment generates which turnover and gross margin. A cockpit was therefore set up to provide this control information.

To fill the cockpit with information, there were first some changes to the process. The sales in the webshop(s) and physical store had to be registered slightly differently in the webshop so that we could see all the necessary information from the data of the webshop.

From the data of the webshop, a cockpit was then created in which we could manage the various indicators on a monthly basis. There was a turnover dashboard in which the monthly turnover is displayed per sales channel, supplier and debtor. There was also a gross margin dashboard which showed the margin per sales channel and supplier.

The above indicators made it possible to (re)manage revenue and gross margin targets.
